The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2025 Daktroncis NAIA Scholar-Athletes awards earlier today. Of the winter student-athletes at St. Ambrose, 66 (3 men's basketball, 4 women's basketball, 6 competitive cheer, 11 competitive dance, 25 men's swimming and diving, 12 women's swimming and diving, and 5 men's wrestling) were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Season ends in Heart Tournament semifinals

Wednesday night, the Bees traveled to Atchinson, Kan., to battle Benedictine College in the Heart Tournament semifinals. SAU scored early to make it a two-goal game, but could not keep up and dropped the contest 30-1 to the second-ranked team in the NAIA to end the Bees' season.

Saturday afternoon in Davenport, Iowa, the Bees hosted a Heart of America Conference Tournament quarterfinal match against Culver-Stockton. Despite trailing in the first half, St. Ambrose fought back to win 13-12 in an overtime thriller.

SAU to host Culver-Stockton in first round of Heart Tournament

St. Ambrose will open the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament at home. Thanks to a fourth-place conference finish, SAU will host Culver-Stockton in a first-round matchup Saturday at St. Vincent's Athletic Complex.
