SAU pulls away from Judson for 3-0 win
Nine different Bees had at least one kill as St. Ambrose defeated Judson 25-17, 25-15, 25-12 Tuesday night in Lee Lohman Arena.
Chloe Fabry led the way with 13 kills. She did not have a hitting error among her 19 attempts, finishing with a .684 hitting percentage.
Sofia Pabon put down seven kills and Grace Beitzel added six. That helped SAU total 35 kills against just 13 errors for a .262 attack percentage. Judson (4-6, 2-4 CCAC) had just 21 kills and 18 errors.
Ella Karmenzind finished with three kills, Larkin Calay had two, and Marta Barriguinha, Olivia Hoskins, Olivia Johnson and Emily Hickerson added one each in the victory.
Ines Marques led all players with 28 assists. She also had a match-best five aces. Calay and Kennedy DeBaillie recorded two aces apiece.
Adriana Diaz paced the Bees with seven digs. Hoskins and DeBaillie picked up five digs each while Fabry and Marques were each credited with four.
St. Ambrose (8-10, 3-3 CCAC) will visit Governors State Thursday.
