Mia Alameida (women’s diving) and Tyler Close (men’s bowling) were selected by the St. Ambrose Sports Information staff as the March Fighting Bees Athletes of the Month. The Fighting Bees Dance team was named March’s Team of the Month.

It was another strong finish for the Bees at the NAIA Swimming & Diving Championships in Elkhart, Ind. The SAU men finished eighth overall and the Bee women took 13th, and the two teams combined for multiple All-American finishes.

Bees recognize seniors at home finale

St. Ambrose competed at home at the Davenport Central Natatorium for the final time this season Saturday. The Bee men defeated Grinnell 165-96 and the SAU women won 149-126 on Senior Day.
Men first, women third at two-day Grinnell Invite

In the two-day Grinnell Invite, St. Ambrose had a strong showing. The Bee men won with 804.5 points, easily out-distancing second-place Augustana (678.5 points) in the nine-team men's field. The SAU women took third out of 11 teams with 470.5 points, finishing behind Grinnell (893.5) and Nebraska Wesleyan (718).
SAU women, men win Luther Norse Invite

St. Ambrose split a dual at Augustana Saturday afternoon. The Bee men defeated the Vikings 170-118 while the SAU women fell 160.5-125.5.
