St. Ambrose travels to Mount Pleasant, Wis., looking to win third straight conference crowns as the Liberal Arts Conference Swimming & Diving Championships get underway Wednesday.

The four-day championships will be hosted by the Illinois Institute of Technology at the Racine Unified School District Aquatic Center.

Since joining the Liberal Arts Conference in 2022-23, St. Ambrose has won two conference titles on both the men's and women's sides. Last year, the Bees claimed back-to-back crowns with the men accumulating 719 points to outdistance second-place Illinois Tech (530) and the SAU women totaling 598 points to swim past second-place Asbury (451).

Action begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday with the finals of both the women's and men's 800-yard freestyle relays. The final three days of competition will feature preliminary-round races in the morning and A and B finals in an evening session. The top-three performers in all individual events and the top-three performances by relay teams will be named to the all-championship team. Team champions will be crowned Saturday night.

St. Ambrose will be challenged by Illinois Tech, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Asbury and Minnesota Morris.
