Three Bees qualify for NAIA Championships
The St. Ambrose women's cross-country team turned in a strong performance this weekend at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships at the Aspen Ridge Golf Course in Bourbonnais, Ill., earning three top-15 finishes.
Kaitlyn Knoche led the Bees with an impressive third-place finish, clocking a 6k time of 22:14. Allison Hein followed finishing ninth in 23:04 and grabbed a PR in the process, while Alexa Minard rounded out the scoring trio, taking 14th place with a time of 23:30.
The team's depth and consistency continues to shine as they carry their momentum into the NAIA Championships in Tallahassee, Fla., where the three Bees will compete at 7:30 a.m.
