2025 CCAC Women's Soccer Postseason Release

Four members of the St. Ambrose University women's soccer team were recognized by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference with postseason honors, the league announced today.

Isabella Crawford, Jenna Horst, and Mia Vetter each earned spots on the CCAC First Team All-Conference, while Mia Hefner was selected to the Second Team.

The four honorees were instrumental in leading the Bees to a 13-5-3 overall record and an 8-1-3 mark in CCAC play. St. Ambrose's balanced attack and disciplined defensive play helped the program secure a postseason berth and continue its rise among the league's top teams.

Horst, a senior forward, earned First Team honors after leading the Bees with 21 total points on seven goals and seven assists. She led the conference in shots with a total of 94; her goals rank her eleventh, and her assists rank her third. Horst appeared in all 21 games, starting each one, and served as a key playmaker in both the attacking and defensive thirds. She earned Offensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 30 after tallying three goals and three assists in wins over Mount Mary and St. Francis.

Crawford also landed on the First Team. The junior midfielder finished with two goals and five assists, ranking among the team leaders in playmaking production. Crawford's technical ability and vision in transition helped control possession and set the tone for the Bees' offensive rhythm throughout conference play. She had a game high of two assists in the 9-0 win over Mount Mary.

Vetter, a sophomore defender, earned First Team recognition for her defensive dominance. She anchored a unit that allowed just 19 goals in 21 matches—one of the top marks in the CCAC. Vetter collected three goals and one assist in her second campaign with the Bees. She notched the lone goal in the Bees' tie with Olivet Nazarene on Sept. 19. Her two other goals came in wins over Calumet and Indiana South Bend.

Hefner, named to the Second Team, was the Bees' offensive catalyst throughout the year. The junior forward led the Bees in scoring with 11 goals (second in the CCAC) and four assists for a team-best 26 points (third in the CCAC). She notched four game-winning goals and was a constant threat to opponents. Hefner received Offensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 2 after being the lone goal scorer in a pair of wins against Clarke and Benedictine. She tallied a game-best three goals in the Bees' win on Sept. 23.
