Ellie Rude finished 12th overall to lead a group of four Bees inside the top 15 at the Clarke Fall Classic played at Eagle Ridge in Galena, Ill., Monday and Tuesday.

Rude opened with a 90, matching the team's best round of the two-day event, and followed that with a 93 for her 183.

Teammate Anna Hurning was four shots back, shooting a 187 after rounds of 96 and 91 to finish 14th. Aleanna Mendoza and Addy Heineke tied for 15th with 188s. Mendoza also shot a first-day 90 before following that up with a 98, while Heineke carded a 96-92.

Gabrielle Langlois shot a 101 before a 97 left her with a 198. Tavia Dowell finished with a 208 (107-101).

St. Ambrose finished fourth in the five-team tournament with rounds of 383 and 378 for a 761.

Clarke won its own event, firing a 676 (342-334). The Pride's Amalia Ortega claimed medalist honors with a 160 (77-83).

The Bees will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule Oct. 13-14 at the William Penn Statesmen Invitational, played at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
