Mendoza earns all-tourney honors at Judson Invite
Aleanna Mendoza shot an 83 to finish in a tie for fifth and earn all-tournament team honors at the Judson Invite played at Pinecrest in Huntley, Ill., Wednesday.
Mendoza's day included just two bogeys on the back nine, allowing her to shoot a 2-over 38 over the final nine holes.
All six Bees finished in the top half of the field that consisted of 83 individuals competing for 14 teams.
Gabrielle Langlois and Ellie Rude finished within a single shot of each other. Langlois carded an 87 to finish in 12th place and Rude fired an 88.
Tavia Dowell came in with a 93 and Addy Heineke shot a 95. Playing as an individual, Lauren Callison finished with a 96.
As a team, St. Ambrose finished third with a 351. Judson won its own event with a 335.
The Bees return to action this weekend at the Mustang Fall Invite at Hunters Ridge in Marion, Iowa.
