Three Bees ranked in NAIA Coaches' poll
NAIA Men's Wrestling Individual Rankings
Strong starts have three St. Ambrose wrestlers ranked nationally at their respective weight classes, including a pair of Bees inside the top 20.
Jayden Terronez, a two-time NAIA national qualifer, is slotted 19th at 165 pounds. The senior from Moline, Ill., has three wins this season, including two by fall. Two of his three losses have come to the No. 13 and No. 14-ranked wrestlers in the weight class. Terronez's other loss came to a wrestler from Iowa State.
Dylan Meiners is also ranked 19th, that coming at 197 pounds. Meiners, a senior from Polk City, Iowa, has four wins, one of which was a come-from-behind 10-7 sudden victory decision over Graceland's John Schuttler, currently ranked 22nd.
Diego Machado, an NAIA qualifier a year ago, is ranked 24th at 157 pounds. The senior from Sparks, Nev., is 8-2 this season with his two losses coming to competitors from Northern Iowa and Minnesota State.
St. Ambrose returns to action Saturday at the Coe Invite.
