Bees sweep week, highlighted by Senior Day shutout

St. Ambrose turned in a dominant week at home, earning a convincing win over Clarke before delivering a statement shutout victory over Ottawa on Senior Day.

vs. Clarke (April 1)

The Bees came out firing, scoring four goals in the opening quarter and building a commanding 10-2 halftime lead after a six-goal second period. Ryan Swanson set the tone early, factoring into multiple first-half goals with his playmaking ability.

Zak Brown and Zach Priami were aggressive from the start, combining for four first-half goals while consistently generating scoring chances. Ayden Fraelle added two goals in the first half, including an unassisted finish that capped a key run.

Swanson finished with a standout performance of 3 goals and 4 assists, controlling the pace of the offense and finding teammates in transition. Priami added 3 goals, including multiple unassisted finishes, while Brown contributed 3 goals on a team-high 11 shots.

Cameron Washington was a key facilitator, tallying 3 assists and adding 2 goals, while Aidan Fergus made an impact across the field with a goal, 6 ground balls, and 6 caused turnovers—one of the top defensive performances of the game.

At the faceoff X, the Bees battled through adversity, but Joey Curzon and Sean Tadel combined efforts to help generate possessions late.

Defensively, Carter Gras anchored the effort with 14 saves, including several key stops during Clarke's fourth-quarter push.

vs. Ottawa (April 4 – Senior Day)

On Senior Day, the Bees delivered one of their most complete performances of the season, shutting out Ottawa in a 21-0 victory.

St. Ambrose dominated from the start, scoring nine goals in the first quarter and never allowing Ottawa to gain momentum. The Bees continued to pour it on with 13 more goals over the next two quarters, building a 19-0 lead heading into the fourth.

The offense was electric, totaling 21 goals on 62 shots, with multiple standout performances. Zach Priami led all scorers with 7 goals and 4 assists, while Cameron Washington orchestrated the attack with an incredible 12 assists, which shattered that team single-game record, to go along with 3 goals.

Zak Brown and Ryan Swanson each added three goals, and Ayden Fraelle chipped in two more in the dominant effort.

Defensively, the Bees were dominant from start to finish, allowing just six total shots. Carter Gras secured the shutout with five saves, while the defense consistently forced turnovers and limited Ottawa's offensive opportunities.
