This past month, senior Marissa Bills set a new standard that will take a herculean effort to surpass. While competing at the Hoosier Classic in February, the talented right-hander from Marion, Iowa, became the women's all-time leader in career pinfall.

A member of the women's bowling team for the past four seasons, Bills has been a mainstay on leaderboards throughout her career.

She finished in seventh place at the Hoosier Classic, narrowly missing all-tournament team honors. Her effort enabled her to surge past longtime pinfall leader Kelly Granzow. Bills finishes her career with 38,899 pins, while Granzow, a Rock Falls, Ill., native, amassed 38,368 pins in her career, which spanned from 2009 until 2013. Granzow had enjoyed 13 years as SAU's women's career pinfall standard-bearer.

Meanwhile, junior Kendric Siders continued to move up the men's all-time pinfall list at SAU. The right-hander from Alaska tallied 1032 pins for five games at the Hoosier Classic, adding to his career pinfall total, which now stands at 30,763 for 149 games. That effort moved him from 11th to sixth on the career pinfall list.
